SB 499, the Hunger Free NH Act, aims to reduce hunger for NH children, older adults, and people with disabilities. The bill includes the Elderly Simplified Application Project (ESAP), which makes it easier for older adults to enroll and stay enrolled in SNAP, helping them get the food and nutrition they need.

The House Finance Committee is holding a public hearing on SB 499 on Wednesday, April 17 at 2:30 pm at the Legislative Office Building in Room 210. 

TAKE ACTION:

• SIGN IN to SUPPORT SB 499 (any time between now and midnight on April 17)
• Email the Committee to urge them to support the bill.
• Attend the hearing in person - let us know if you're interested.
