Rob Kiefner,MD recently retired from the practice of Family Medicine in Concord after a career spanning over 30 years. He has served on the medical staffs of Concord Hospital and New Hampshire Hospital. He was involved in the teaching of 1st and 2nd year medical students as an Associate Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
Dr. Kiefner retired from the US Naval Reserve,Medical Corps, with the rank of Commander. He was President of the NH Academy of Family Physicians 2012-2014 and was involved in the effort to bring about Medicaid expansion and insurance reform to New Hampshire.
He graduated from Vassar College and attended New York University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences prior to graduating from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and completed a year long course of study in Clinical Acupuncture at the Harvard Medical School in 2015.
Dr. Kiefner is married to Dr. Patricia Clancy. They have three sons and reside in Concord. He is honored to be able to participate in the critical work of New Futures.
