HB 1753: Reducing the Age for Legally Possessing Alcohol
Reducing The Age For Legally Possessing Alcohol. This bill reduces the age for legally possessing alcohol.
New Futures opposes efforts to lower the minimum drinking age because a drinking age of 21 is proven evidenced-based policy that has lead to a reduction in youth drinking and driving.
This bill will be sent to Committee of Conference for the House and Senate to come to an agreement.
