WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS LEGISLATIVE SESSION?
If you’ve been asking yourself that question, you can join us twice each month via conference call to get all the legislative updates from Tricia Lucas, New Futures’ policy director. New Futures routinely tracks legislation related to its mission and is happy to share.
Beginning Monday, February 22nd at 12:00 Noon and continuing the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month through May, New Futures will host a one-hour conference call, highlighting bills of interest and their current status.
New Futures maintains a “legislative tracking document” that resides on our website and is updated regularly. You can check the tracking document at any time by bookmarking that page or visiting www.new-futures.org, going to Issues & Actions, picking the Legislative Updates page and clicking on the link to the bill tracking document at the top of the page. The tracking document will be used as a reference during conference calls.
