Alisha Proctor
COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Alisha assists with communications planning and content creation for New Futures' ongoing and campaign advocacy. She is primarily responsible for assisting with the organization's digital platforms, as well as drafting content for electronic and print media coverage. Her work ensures that advocates and the public are well-informed about all of New Futures' policy priorities.
Before joining New Futures, Alisha received her BA in Psychology and History/Political Studies with a Sociology Minor from Colby-Sawyer College. During her time at CSC, Alisha worked with children in residential treatment, suicide prevention, and mental health advocacy with various nonprofit organizations, including Sweetser and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
During her free time Alisha enjoys hiking, coffee and tea, and spending time with her two cats.
