Bobbie Burgess
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Bobbie is responsible for managing all communications planning and content creation for New Futures' ongoing campaign advocacy. She maintains the organization's digital platforms, as well as creating content for electronic and print media coverage. Her work ensures that advocates and the public are well-informed about all of New Futures' policy priorities.
Bobbie received her Masters in Public Policy from the University of New Hampshire's Carsey School of Public Policy in 2019 and a Bachelors of Arts in Government from Georgetown University in 2017. Before joining New Futures, she was a Policy Fellow at the Town of Exeter, an Intern at the NH State Office of Employee Relations, and a policy Intern in the U.S. Senate. She is from Indiana but has fallen in love with New Hampshire and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. In her free time, she enjoys running, being outside, and listening to podcasts.
