Annette Escalante is the Senior Vice President of Substance Abuse Services at Farnum Center.  Before joining Farnum, she worked for the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services as the Director of the Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services. She was previously the vice president of the Greater Nashua Council on Alcoholism, Keystone Hall for 12 years, overseeing all aspects of clinical programming, administration and personnel. She holds a master of social work degree, which she earned at the University of New Hampshire and is a master licensed alcohol and drug counselor (MLADC). She also held the position of Administrator of Women Offenders and Family Services for the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. She is an adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire and Granite State College. She is a member of the NH Governor’s Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs. She is on the advisory committee for the NH Governor’s Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative. She is past president of the New Hampshire Providers Association. She was a previous member of the New Hampshire Board of Licensing for Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals. She has over 30 years of experience and has worked with substance use disorders, trauma, youth services, corrections, domestic violence and sexual assault.
