Home visiting is an evidence-based model where a healthcare provider visits the homes of expectant and new parents with children through kindergarten to offer support and education during and after pregnancy. Not every pregnant person in New Hampshire has access to home visits due to various barriers such as funding and geographic location.
Why It Matters
Home visiting helps parents navigate pregnancy and early childhood. It can help families spot developmental delays and improve parent’s mental health. Parents can receive resources, education, and support from home visiting.

Our Impact
In 2023 and 2025, New Futures championed comprehensive maternal health packages known as Momnibus 1.0 and 2.0, which both invest state dollars in expanding New Hampshire's home visiting programs.
