This Week at the State House: Week of March 24, 2025

It's the last full week of March and we're expecting significant developments regarding the state budget. House Finance subcommittees will soon reveal and vote on their funding recommendations. These subcommittees, known as divisions, are anticipated to announce hundreds of millions of dollars in proposed cuts, which could put essential programs for Granite Staters at risk. Given these circumstances, please contact House Finance Committee members and urge them to prioritize the needs of people and families as they develop the budget. We'll provide updates as events unfold throughout the week.

Regarding the legislative schedule, the House of Representatives will convene for voting sessions on both Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The Senate will meet on Thursday only. Be sure to follow us on social media for critical updates about votes.
