Upcoming Advocacy Trainings
New Futures is partnering with the NH Food Alliance to provide Advocacy on the Road trainings around the state! Food security and access is essential for the health of Granite State residents. These trainings are part of the Food Alliance's effort to help their network become more active on food and agriculture related policy. Each training will be offered in a different region of the state by a local host partner, making them convenient and accessible. And they're free!
This training will teach you how to effectively advocate for issues you care about in the Granite State. You'll learn about the unique NH legislature, how a bill becomes a law, best practices for engaging with legislators, practical advocacy and communication skills, and more. The main objective is for attendees to understand the inherent opportunity they have to influence the future of our state, and to leave feeling empowered and confident in their ability to take direct action on issues they care about. After this training, you'll be better equipped to make a difference in the New Hampshire state government.
