Catholic Medical Center is considering a sale to HCA Healthcare, a for-profit health care organization based in Nashville, Tenn.
Catholic Medical Center aims to improve coordinated care and sustainability with this sale so that it can continue to provide high-quality care in the region. However, as with all hospital mergers, this consolidation raises questions about the ongoing cost and quality of care available in the community.
The hospital network is holding a public forum on Wednesday, October 23 at 4:30 pm at Manchester Memorial High School to provide more information about what this merger will mean for you, as well as provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions about cost and access to care.
