DSM 5: Substance Use Disorders – Diagnosis and Key Changes
PRESENTATION: Significant changes are proposed for the DSM-5 release in May 2013. This training will focus on changes to substance use disorders.

PRESENTER: Andrea Meier, MS, LADC, LCMHC is a clinician with extensive experience and expertise in training, supervision, and implementation of psychosocial therapies. Prior to joining the Dartmouth Medical School, she was a clinical supervisor and clinician at a co-occurring treatment program in Burlington, VT for 6 years, and is presently the project manager for the NIDA funded Randomized Controlled Trial on co-occurring posttraumatic stress disorder and substance use disorders being conducted at NH and VT addiction treatment centers. Ms. Meier’s focus is the training, supervision and quality monitoring of community clinicians in delivering evidence-based therapies. She has conducted numerous trainings and is on the Dartmouth Medical School faculty.
