New Futures to Celebrate Legislative Wins, Honor Health Champions at Annual Awards Event

CONCORD, N.H. – New Futures, New Hampshire’s leading health policy and advocacy organization, will celebrate gains made this legislative session and recognize outstanding individuals at its annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, October 11 at the Bank of NH Stage in downtown Concord.

At the event, to run from 4-6pm, New Futures will honor legislators and advocates for their work to improve the health and well being of the Granite State, including Sen. Jeb Bradley, Sen. Becky Whitley, Sen. Denise Ricciardi, Airole Warden (Coos County Director Network), Shawn Cannizzaro (Hope 2 Freedom Recovery Home), Carol Conforti-Adams (Sunset Hill Educational Institute), Cora-Lynn Hoppe (Rochester Child Care Center), and New Hampshire Public Radio.

Following the presentation of awards, New Hampshire native and Tonight Show alum Juston McKinney will take the stage as this year’s Keynote Speaker. McKinney is a former deputy sheriff who successfully made the jump into comedy, starring in several specials on Comedy Central and Amazon Prime. He also appeared in The King of Queens, Here Comes the Boom and The Zoo Keeper.

The New Futures Annual Events Celebration is free to attend, but advanced registration is required.
