New Hampshire stands alone in New England as only state without legal marijuana
One of the most effective opponents of more liberal marijuana policies has been New Futures, a nonprofit organization that advocates for public health and wellness.
"There are important principles that should be embedded in any legislation, and that would ensure that you're protecting kids, you're promoting social justice, that you're making sure public health protections are in place, and most importantly, making sure the revenue raised goes to prevention, treatment and recovery," said Kate Frey, of New Futures.
