This Week at the State House: Week of January 19, 2026
Welcome back to another week at the New Hampshire State House! We begin this week honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and his commitment to justice and equality, values that continue to guide our work to make New Hampshire a more equitable place to live, work, and thrive. This week brings opportunities to advocate for bills that limit marketing of addictive products to youth and strengthen our state’s substance use treatment system. We’re also recapping last week’s hearings related to health care affordability, family and kinship caregivers, and access to childhood immunizations—all issues where your voice can still make a difference before committee recommendations.
We're grateful to everyone who showed up at the public hearings to share their stories with lawmakers. Whether you testified in person or signed in virtually to indicate your position, you made your voice heard.
