This Week at the State House: Week of February 9, 2026

We’re back with another edition of This Week at the State House, and there’s a full lineup of hearings on New Futures’ priority bills! This week, committees will hear from the public on several bills aimed at ending marketing of addictive products to youth, improving access to mental health supports for young people, and protecting a tool that helps us understand and prevent unsafe behaviors.

House committees are also scheduled to vote on recommendations for bills that would expand access to child care and make harmful changes to immunization requirements. Plus, we have an update on a bill that the Senate voted on last week.
