This Week at the State House: Week of April 7, 2025

Welcome back to another week of This Week at the State House! Last week was all about the state budget, as the House Finance Committee finalized its spending proposal for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. The committee’s budget proposal includes several concerns including a change to the funding structure of the Alcohol Fund, a three percent cut to Medicaid reimbursement rates, and a significant reduction in funding for mental health services in New Hampshire, among many other troubling provisions. The full House will vote to finalize its budget proposal on Thursday. There is still time to email your Representative(s) to share your concerns about the state budget.
