This Week at the State House: Week of May 4, 2026
It’s a critical time at the New Hampshire State House as all bills must have a committee recommendation by the end of the week. Several New Futures’ priorities are still awaiting committee decisions, including Senate Bill 498, the bill that ensures children with private insurance can access intensive wraparound mental health services. Learn about ways to take action on that bill and more below.
Over the past year and a half, New Futures has been working with the NH Medicaid Matters coalition to protect our state’s Medicaid programs. We’ll be joining coalition and community members in Manchester on May 18 at 5:30 pm at the NH Food Bank for a community conversation to share what Granite State families need to know about upcoming changes to Medicaid. Please join us to learn more and have your questions and concerns heard! Register now.
