This Week at the State House: Week of June 2, 2025

As June begins, New Hampshire's budget process enters its final phases. The Senate Finance Committee is expected to vote on its recommended budget proposal tomorrow – Tuesday, June 3 – setting the stage for Senate floor action on Thursday, June 5, when the full chamber convenes. We're now closer than ever to seeing the Senate's final budget proposal take shape. Stay tuned for our critical budget update coming after the Senate Finance Committee vote!

This Thursday, both the New Hampshire Senate and House of Representatives will also cast votes on critical legislation that could harm the health and well-being of Granite Staters. These bills involve housing security, mandatory minimum sentencing, and restrictions on medically necessary care. Learn more and take action below.

While this legislative session has been challenging at times, we are thankful for your tireless efforts advocating for evidence-based solutions to New Hampshire's health challenges. To thank you, we’re inviting you to our 2025 Advocate & Partner Organization Appreciation Event next Thursday, June 12, from 4 to 6 pm on the State House Lawn. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate fellow advocates and partners with delicious food and ice cream from Arnie’s Place, bounce houses, networking, raffle prizes, a live DJ, and more!
