Board of Directors will match donations up to $500 per gift during 24-hour giving event

New Futures is excited to announce its participation in NH Gives, the state’s largest 24-hour online fundraising event designed to empower New Hampshire's nonprofits and amplify the generosity of donors. Taking place from 5:00 PM on June 10 through 5:00 PM on June 11, this year's campaign features a special matching gift opportunity from the New Futures Board of Directors.

During NH Gives, the New Futures Board of Directors will match all donations up to $500 per gift, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution. This generous commitment underscores the Board's dedication to New Futures' mission of building healthier communities through policy change and empowering citizen advocates across New Hampshire.

"NH Gives represents a critical opportunity to amplify our advocacy work during a pivotal time for New Hampshire families," said Jim Doyle, Director of Development at New Futures. "When Granite Staters donate during this 24-hour period, they're not only having their gift matched dollar-for-dollar by our dedicated Board of Directors, they're investing in our shared vision of a state where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. These funds directly power our advocacy training programs that transform everyday citizens into effective champions for the causes they care about most."

Funds raised during NH Gives will support New Futures' work to:

  • Train advocates to effectively engage with legislators, testify at hearings, and share their stories
  • Research and track legislation affecting child well-being, behavioral health, early childhood, substance use disorders, access to health care, and healthy aging
  • Educate policymakers about the real-world impacts of health policy decisions
  • Amplify community voices in the legislative process through media engagement and digital advocacy

Over the last two years, New Futures trained over 3,000 advocates who took more than 3,700 advocacy actions, resulting in 48 positive policies becoming law and securing over $1 billion in funding for critical programs serving vulnerable populations.

NH Gives, hosted by the NH Center for Nonprofits, has raised more than $12 million for hundreds of nonprofits across the Granite State since its inception in 2016.
