Granite Advantage Community Engagement Requirement
The New Hampshire Health Protection Program (AKA Medicaid Expansion), has been replaced by the Granite Advantage Health Care Program. Granite Advantage includes a requirement of work or community engagement to keep your Medicaid Expansion coverage. Over 50,000 Granite Staters have access to health care because of Medicaid Expansion.
More than 18,000 Medicaid Expansion recipients lost their health insurance in Arkansas when a similar work requirement was put into effect and thousands could risk losing coverage here as well, according to this recent study by the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute.
Don't let you or someone you know lose coverage!
Make a plan to keep your health insurance. If you are a Medicaid Expansion recipient, you should have a plan to record your work or community engagement, or to apply for an exemption so that you do not risk losing coverage.
