GoTruth NH: How Community Action Can Prevent a Winter Surge 

November 30 at 4:00 pm (Virtual)

Join GoTruth NH, a public education and grassroots effort to promote accurate and truthful information about vaccines and public health, for a one-hour panel discussion on how New Hampshire providers are preparing for the winter surge of flu, RSV, and COVID. In addition, this panel will discuss ways the general public can take care of themselves and others to avoid burdening the hospital system this winter. NAMI NH: In Illness and In Health

November 30 at 6:00 pm (Virtual)

Do you have a partner or significant other who struggles with their mental health? Join us for this deeply moving webinar and listen to two of NAMI NH's Life Interrupted presenters, including New Futures' Board Member Anena Hansen, to share their experiences of the highs, lows, and everything in between of living someone else with mental illness. Hope can be found in their triumphs and struggles.

Dartmouth Health: Political Determinants of Health Symposium

December 8, 8:00 am-12:00 pm (at New Hampshire Institute of Politics)

Political determinants of health include the governmental systems, structures, and policies that impact health outcomes. In collaboration with an array of healthcare stakeholders and partners the Office of Government Relations and Population Health at Dartmouth Health is hosting a half-day symposium to explore the Political Determinants of Health and discuss how laws and regulations influence the health and economic prosperity of Granite Staters. New Futures’ Rebecca Woitkowski will participate in a panel discussion on the quality and accessibility of childcare.

Save the Children Action Network: Advocacy Skills Workshop

December 14 at 6:00 pm (Virtual)

Join Save the Children Action Network to learn ways to advocate for children and families! This hour-long virtual workshop will equip you with the necessary skills to help elevate the voices of children. New and experienced advocates are encouraged to attend. A Zoom link will be sent to you on the day of the workshop.
